Mr. Tony Delfin's career began in the Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources - State Forestry Division in 1993 as a fire management officer in the Cimarron District. Mr. Delfin has been an Inmate Work Camp Supervisor, Bernalillo District Forester, Deputy State Forester and lived throughout the state before becoming State Forester in 2011. He is the Chair of the New Mexico Drought Task Force Watershed Management Subcommittee, a member of the New Mexico Water Quality Control Commission and Secretary/Treasurer of the Council of Western State Foresters Executive Board. Mr. Delfin was born and raised in Silver City, NM and holds a B.S. in Biology from Western New Mexico University.
