Cerrillos South Emergency Maintenance Project

The project consisted of a mine shaft that had subsided to about 30-feet deep. The shaft was originally filled as part of the Cerrillos South Mine Safeguard Project. The area is heavily used by horseback riders and the hazard was considered a high priority.
