Derry I-25 Mine Safeguard Project

The Derry I-25 Mine Safeguard Project consisted of backfilling three shafts, four adits and one pit, restoring existing hillside benches and access roads, constructing a sedimentation pond, placing temporary erosion control measures, and seeding, fertilizing and mulching of disturbed areas. The project was located one to two miles northeast of Derry, NM.

The contractor was the St. Cloud Mining Company of Truth or Consequences, NM.
