Foster Mine Safeguard Project

The Foster Mine Safeguard Project was located northwest of Silver City near the town of Gila, NM. The project consisted of safeguarding seven abandoned hard rock mine openings. This included the construction of four bat gates and and two cable nets.

The contractor was Smith Construction Company of Albuquerque, NM.
