The La Ventana Coal Reclamation Project was located at several sites seven to 15 miles south of Cuba, NM.

This project consisted of excavating, hauling, grading and amending (using lime and compost) numerous coal gob piles and several borrow sites and safeguarding several mine openings.

The contractor was Khani Company of Albuquerque, NM.
