The San Pedro Mine Safeguard Project is located near the towns of San Pedro and Golden in Santa Fe County, New Mexico. The project area (see Figures 1 and 2) is on 490.5 acres of private and BLM land in Sections 21, 22, 27 and 28 , Township 12 North, Range 7 East (USGS 7.5’ San Pedro Quadrangle).

This project involves the following work:
