Turquoise Hills Project

The Turquoise Hills Project was located in Santa Fe County approximately seven miles south of the city of Santa Fe, New Mexico. The project involved backfilling 21 mine features, constructing bat gates at two adits, installing wrought iron fences and two locations and a chain link fence at one location, constructing cable nets at three locations and constructing a bat compatible closure over one shaft.

The contractor was the Smith Construction Company of Albuquerque, NM.
