The White Signal Mines Safeguard Project was located between Silver City and Lordsburg, NM. The project consisted of backfilling ten mine shafts using 320 cubic yards of fill material and safeguarding one shaft with a bat and owl cupola and closing one adit with a bat gate in a rock bulkhead. One waste pile was taken to the Tyrone Mine.

The contractor was Earth & Sun Construction Inc. of Las Cruces, NM.
