There are some locations in the state and non-profit organizations that teach in Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Farmington and Los Alamos.
Albuquerque:
• $4 if you're a member of the AWC & the American Canoe Association (ACA) • $10 if you're not a member of either. You're allowed 2 "trial" pool sessions before you must join both the ACA & AWC. Why? Because the City of Albuquerque (CABQ) requires the AWC to provide its own insurance, which it gets through the ACA. Therefore, you must become a member of both the AWC & ACA. • When applying to the American Canoe Association online or via hard-copy, you may be asked if you're affiliated with a Paddle America Club. If you're a member of the Adobe Whitewater Club (a Paddle America Club), then enter "Adobe Whitewater Club", and you should receive a discount on the ACA membership.
