Manzano Mountains State Park
Set in the eastern foothills of the Manzano Mountains, trails wind through
a forest of ponderosa pines.

ALERTS:

Beginning September 15, Mondays – Thursdays from 9 AM until 1:30 PM, crews will be in the park thinning trees.  This project is anticipated to take several weeks.  Visitors are likely to hear noise from chainsaws and other equipment.  Portions of the Wildfire and Outer Loop trails will be closed as well.  Please be patient as we improve the forest health at this park.

Campsites 31 through 37 and the Wildfire Trail will be closed for a period of at least 60 days starting September 15, 2014 for a tree thinning project.  The Outer Loop Trail will be closed intermittently during the same period.
