Administration and Compliance Bureau
The Administration and Compliance Bureau provides administrative support for the Oil Conservation Division. The Bureau is responsible for the secretarial and administrative duties required by the Division.
The three main programs managed by this section are as follows:
- Hearing process - the Bureau works closely with the Engineering and Legal Bureaus in the hearing process from the receipt and docketing of applications for hearing through the final disposition of a case by the entering of an order.
- Bonding process - the bonding process is managed with the support of the legal staff and includes approving and canceling bonds.
- Records - the Bureau maintains scanned electronic as well as hard copy records.
The Fiscal Section's primary role is to provide fiscal support to the Oil Conservation Division and to manage collection of oil and gas production data. The section is responsible for:
- Budget, procurement and accounting functions.
- Collection and disbursement of monthly well information including production, injection, completions, spacings, pools, operators, inactive wells, and orphan wells to partner agencies.
- Oversight of Oil Conservation Division's online electronic permitting.
- Website maintenance.
- Tri-agency coordination of the ONGARD system.
- Oil and Gas Reclamation Fund reporting.

- Assists attorneys and general public in all facets of the hearing process, including advising them of hearing dates, advertising deadline dates, continuances or dismissals of cases, and status of orders
- Serves as Oil Conservation Commission secretary, which includes preparing minutes of each Commission hearing, advising Commissioners of filings of motions, pre-hearing statements, and exhibits for each case
- Provides administrative support to the Division Director and assists in scheduling of meetings, researching materials, and helping with special projects
- Serves as an initial point of contact to assist the Division in responding to industry and public needs
