New Mexico Boaters must know Article 12 of Chapter 66 of the New Mexico Statutory Acts known as the "BOAT ACT STATUTES" and Article 13 of Chapter 66 of the New Mexico Statutory Acts known as the "BOATING WHILE INTOXICATED ACT".
In addition, New Mexico Boaters must follow Title 18 NMAC (New Mexico Administrative Code)
Chapter 17, Part 2 Boating Operation and Safety containing the "BOAT ACT REGULATIONS".
When in a New Mexico State Park, boaters also must follow the applicable regulations from
Title 16 NMAC (New Mexico Administrative Code) Chapter 16 "OUTDOOR RECREATION ACT".
